Install Nautir
The nt terminal client with one command, or the desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Install Nautir
Nautir runs on your machine and talks to api.nautir.ai. Nothing else needs to run locally.
Terminal client
curl -fsSL https://nautir.ai/install.sh | bashThis puts nt in ~/.nautir/bin and adds it to your PATH. Then:
nt login
cd <project>
ntAlpine and other musl-based Linux: install libstdc++ first (apk add libstdc++); the nt
binary needs it at runtime.
Options: --version 0.1.0 pins a version, --no-modify-path leaves your shell config alone.
The script verifies every download against the release's SHA256SUMS.
Windows has no terminal installer yet: use the desktop app, or unpack the nt-windows-x64.zip
listed in the release manifest and put nt.exe on your PATH.
Desktop app
Download from nautir.ai/download: macOS (Apple Silicon), Windows (x64), and Linux (AppImage, .deb, .rpm on x64).

- macOS: open the
.dmg, drag Nautir to Applications, then runxattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Nautir.app"once. - Windows: on the SmartScreen prompt choose More info → Run anyway.
- Linux:
chmod +xthe.AppImageand run it, or install the.deb/.rpm.
Updating
nt upgrade installs the current version of the terminal client. The desktop app does not
update itself yet: download the new version from the same page and replace the installed one.
